DURAMAX
In 1980, Donaldson introduced a new spin-on hydraulic product
line called Duramax. This product was a revolutionary change
because it combined higher operating pressures with the convenience
of spin-on filtration, providing a new level of convenience
and efficiency to our customers. Duramax eliminated the well-known
inconvenience of cartridge filter assemblies for many hydraulic
applications.
Duramax® continues to bring many improvements to the
hydraulic system such as:

High Structural Integrity
Duramax hydraulic spin-on with its heavy duty steel canister
and unique die cast top plate, provide the needed strength
to handle higher pressures and long hours of severe duty.

Critical Gasket Design
The head-to-canister o-ring seal design insures seal integrity
beyond 1000 psi and aids easier filter removal.
High Endurance
Duramax® filter fatigue strength ratings surpass the
OE requirements with:
- 100,000 cycles 0-500 psi
- 300,000 cycles 0-400 psi
- 1,000,000 cycles 0-350 psi.
Trouble-Free Valving
Bypass valves have a unique, curved design to eliminate
jamming.
Application Flexibility
The Duramax has multiple applications.....from transmission
to return line hydraulic filtration.
